This disease affects only non-sterilised bitches.
It occurs generally two months after the heats your pet. The bitch will reproduce the same symptoms if she was going to put down. The animal achieved by nervous pregnancy, also named pseudo-gestation or nerve lactation, introduce different symptoms which may be more or less net :

The castration of the dog is an intervention of convenience practiced very frequently. This can be decided for various reasons:
– for legal reasons (first category dog),
– to eliminate certain behavioural disorders (Fugue, aggressiveness…),
– to prevent or treat some diseases.

Cruciate ligament rupture is a common condition in dogs. It concerns mainly the cranial cruciate ligament. The latter ensures good stability of the knee and its failure, partial or total, will cause the onset of lameness of the Member concerned.

Piroplasmosis is a parasitic disease transmitted by ticks (in France, two species of ticks : Dermacentor and Rhipicephalus).
It is responsible for often severe hemolytic anemia, complicated by kidney damage. We meet Piroplasmosis in dogs but also in horses, and to some extent in cattle.

Parvovirus is a viral disease frequent and particularly dangerous for puppies.
It is caused by a parvovirus and causes strong gastroenteritis cause the death of the animal.
It seems that some breeds are predisposed to the disease : This is particularly the case for the Rottweiler, the Doberman and the Staffordshire Terrier.
